(April 4, 2011) – SALT LAKE CITY and PRICE, UTAH – Codale Electric Supply, a leading independent electrical distributor based in Salt Lake City, is set to break ground on a new 25,000-square foot office, warehouse, and retail counter facility located at 50 East 1300 South in Price, Utah. A brief groundbreaking ceremony will be held on location at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13. On-hand to deliver remarks will be Price City Mayor Joe L. Piccolo and Carbon County Commissioner Mike Milovich. Refreshments will be provided, and the public is invited to attend.

Codale’s newest facility will feature 9,000 square feet of office space and 16,000 square feet of warehouse space. Construction is scheduled to be complete in December of 2011.

Codale’s Price branch has been operating at its existing location, at 1703 South Highway 10, since 1995. It was the company’s third location since opening in Salt Lake City in 1975. Codale Electric Supply currently has 10 branch locations in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada, and one affiliate company, Codale Energy Services & Supply, LLC., in Las Vegas.

The new Codale Price building was designed by Chris Layton & Associates Architects. General contractor on the construction project is Logan, Utah-based Lundahl Building Systems.
